Prayers for Sweetwater students please

3 Sweetwater students were injured in a 1 car accident last night. I spoke to one of the injured's cousin this morning and at that time he was in a coma and the outlook was not good.
The other 2 did not have life threatening injuries, but were injured and remain in Abilene and Sweetwater hopitals.



What is really crazy about this (for me anyway) is that it happened down the road from our home.

I almost started a thread about this last night.....at about 11:15 we were watching tv and heard sirens outside. When I went out I saw the red and blue lights everywhere!! The roads had been closed in all directions and a helicopter was landing just across from our driveway.

The next thing was 2 more copters circling around waiting to land....their lights lite up the yard and we could feel the wind from the blades.

We of course did not have a clue what was going on as they where using the lot across from us to land on and the accident was about a mile away so they were transporting them to the landing site via ambulance.

it was a very eerie night for a while!

Please keep these young folks and families in your thoughts and prayers and I will post more info as it becomes available.

Here is the last I have...it is from a prayer chain with the Emmaus Community...

There were three teenagers in a really bad accident last night here in Nolan county
and they need our prayers.

One is in a coma at Hendrick Medical Center, very critical

Another is at Hendrick Medical Center with multiple broken bones, and other injuries

The third girl we do not have information on her injuries, she is at Rolling Plains
Memorial Hospital

We need to really cover these young people in prayer not only for physical healing
but also for emotional healing.






I went to the accident scene and all I can say it is a miracle anyone survived....the road has a major dip...creek...low water crossing...and they may have it it too fast and lost control which lead to hitting a rather large tree....

Prayers sent from Glen Rose. I know how there parents are feeling. My son hit a tree his junior year and was careflited to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. Luckily he came away with just a totally destroyed ankle. But healed well and made all district team his senior year in baseball. So hang in there and we will pray for a speedy recovery.

I have been trying to get updates on the 3 kids,

The boy has made some improvement and as started to respond but is still in a coma and I haven't heard anything on the 2 girls.
