I give him one more year as a Royal. He still has three years left under his contract, but the cash is heavily backloaded for over $13 million in both 2011 and 2012. KC may pay the $7 million to keep him in '10, but I see no way they will pay anyone $13.5 million a year. I hate to say it but he may be wearing pinstripes as early as 2011.

He's got serious mental problems. I don't see the Yankees taking him and throwing him into that media frenzy.

It's well known if you follow the game. Most analysts talk about it quite frequently. Not to mention, the manager of the Kansas City Royals lives in Liberty Hill. So, I've picked his brain from time to time. Figured he would know more than anyone since he's his coach.

Wow. If I had significant personal, psychological and/or medical issues, I wouldn't be too happy about my boss blabbing about it to everyone...

He's kind of brought it upon himself. He hasn't exactly hidden it.

Yeah, but if someone is talking about something he hasn't already divulged in the "public domain" to the media, then I think it's pretty lousy. Not knowing the situation, maybe that's all that happened -- but if not I think it's a breach of confidentiality.

the yankees don't care about any issue he might have, they just want him to pitch

He has divulged it to the "public domain".

That's how I knew to ask about it. Pay attention.
