Mager is one of the best players in 27 3A. Talented kid. Someone needs to recruit him because he is a player. The Harlos kid at Somerset shut him down though one on one. I think he had one catch in that game. He had a long run though. Edna can't defend the screen huh!

I am hearing 54- 40 Luling. Mager goes wild! Good for that kid. He is one of my favorite players. Good win for Luling! No sweep of 27. Way to go Luling good job you guys deserve it.

Pretty reliable source... Edna people that were at the game posting on FB. 54-40 EDNA. They will go on to play LaGrange.

Congrats to Luling for turning the season around under obvious difficult circumstances. Continued prayers for the team and the community. I am sure Coach is smiling down at what the team accomplished!

I'm hearing El Campo on Sat afternoon.

Luling won 1st half 40-33, #5 beat Cowboy DBs deep a lot.
2nd half belonged to the Cowboys 21-0, and two long drives that ended on downs inside Eagle 10. The Eagles did not come close to scoring in the 2nd half.
Kam put up some serious stats again. That kid is on fire.

Both teams gathered at the 50 after the game and had a long prayer. You could see some of the Luling kids were emotional. Eagles, you made a great effort and left it all on the field. Your Coach would be very proud.
