I'm home sick.

Is there a radio broadcast of this game? All I can find is La Grange vs. Sweeny.

BR has had the talent to compete for years.....all they needed was a little confidence. Looks like they may have found it.

I'm sure my deer lease guys have the good radio with them.

I feel sorry for Berry...he had SUCH a great game and then the fumble. :(

The Jays played one hellova game. We're proud of them down here in Needville.

The Jays played a heck of a game, did everything right, got a few breaks on Sealy mistakes, never gave up and had no turnovers until 56 seconds left in the game. Their receivers made some absolutely unbelievable catches and the QB made several miracle escapes to avoid getting sacked and then threw for first downs. They could have packed it up when Sealy got up 21-0 early but they turned things around and very nearly won this thing. Their fans should be very proud of the effort the Jays put forth tonight.

Yes sir, we are. Even I'm a little surprised at how they turned it around in the 2nd half. Hearing Needville passing the ball was ....different, LOL. I mean...we pass the ball, but usually rely on the run. Berry played lights out. He's a good QB w/ good arm strength and is accurate. I'm glad they don't read the message boards and all the hub-bub about the 62-10 stuff. They proved tonight that they were way better than anyone was giving them credit for, that's for sure.

Talk about a nail biter....I was on the edge of the couch shouting and whatnot.

GREAT GAME!!!

Congrats Tigers on the win, you guys have some absolute studs.

Congrats to the Brookshire Royal Falcons! They played a great game with very few mistakes. The Buffs were so out of sync. I think they had at least 6 or 7 turnovers about half of which were caused by the falcons and the rest were just slippery mistakes. There were at least 3 times that the Buffs were inside the 10 yd line and either fumbled or threw an interception.

#5 for the falcons deserves the game ball. What an athlete! He is an elusive, strong running back with great vision and cut back ability. Is he a senior? Is he committed to any college team? There were many other falcons that played a great game. It is too bad they don't have more fan support. Maybe it will come now after this great win.

To the Buffs, you guys can hold your heads high. You played your hearts out. Just a few too many mistakes to overcome this game. We had a great time watching you progress over the season. I hope and pray our injured players will heal up fine.

I think I want my crow smoked with bacon and jalepeno...:(

Nice post. We've all eaten crow once or twice. Giddings has had a great run the past few years and I'm sure more to come.

BR - Congratulations. We've been hearing that y'all were coming on...and y'all just proved it.

No #5 for Brookshire is just a Junior.

10.3 in the 100 and a 10.5 in full pads.

#5 is just a junior and has some big schools looking at him.

I believe he was an invite to Mack Brown's junior prospect program this past year.

I can certainly say that for the size of the band, you can hear them for miles. They put out a tremendous amount of sound and their dancers were good. They don't hold nothin' back.

But, I'm glad I don't live close to their practice fields.;)

sat next to a family from Giddings at the UT/UCF game. They sure ran their mouths about running through their bracket with ease. Def one of the biggest shockers of the first round in my eyes.
