Rocket Fan, thanks for your positive remarks regarding the Gatesville Hornets. However, those Rockets kept we Hornet fans on our feet all night, especially your Q/back, Yates, and your receivers. They have nothing to be ashamed of and gave it their best. However, I will agree with you that our coach called a great game, the Hornet team responded and came through when the chips seemed to be in your favor. We were so glad to see Thayer score that last TD. He is quite a runner. No finesse about him, but just one to lower his shoulder, keep those legs moving and get the extra yards when they were needed. I am sure he had over 200 yards tonight. Incidentally, our number 33 who played defensive safety is his older brother. Best of luck to the Rockets for the remainder of the season.
