Last time it was Gilmer by 42-14. Gilmer's lowest scoring game this year was 35-17 over Liberty Eylau. Why would this one be the lowest scoring game they've played?

I'm no homer, never seen Gilmer play, but I seriously doubt Jasper will hold them to only 28.

I'm not one to predict scores, but I do see the Buckeyes taking this game. I don't care if it's by 1 point, or 60 points, so long as the Buckeyes win.:thumbsup:

I think this will be the big upset of round 1. Jasper turned the ball over 5 or 6 times in the first game and it was 8-7 at half. Also hard to convince HS players to take an opponent seriously when they won by 28 the first time. Jasper 28-Gilmer 21.

Gilmer played extremely well in the first half, if it were not for the refs giving em the inch and a half on that first down it would of been 36-0 at half. Had the game been 14-14 that call would of gone down as one of the biggest blown calls I have seen. Thankfully we didn't need that one to go our way tonight.

Gilmer's oline was the difference between matchup 1 and this one. In week one stump was pressured heavily all ngiht, and never got into a rythm. The oline just could not deal with the heavy blitzing. Today, the Jasper bulldogs blitzed but could never seem to get through, Gilmer gave up one sack, and besides that one play everything else seemed like gilmer could do no wrong.

Defense needs to continue to improve, the qb for Jasper gashed us a few times running the ball, and passed decently in the 4th quarter against backups.

Good year Jasper, Hope my gilmer boys keep moving forward.
