Cameron Yoe goes to 2A?

From the KMIL-Cameron website...Cameron ISD school board meeting held last night...

"It was also learned by the school board that the District`s most recent snapshot for UIL re-alignment was 421."

Would this enrollment number for sure put Cameron Yoe in 2A?

No tellin, UIL has done crazier things. but i think last years number was around 435..and number usually goes up by 10 or 15...so guess we'll have to wait until Feb.

I really thinks this puts us in 2a. The bottom number for 3a should go up about 15.

On the Softball thing.....The Yoe Catcher came down as a Junior and tried out at LamarState-Port Arthur some time back.

They are having another tryout at this JUCO on December 10... It is unique in that they have BOTH HS Juniors and Seniors try out.

Please encourage any SB players needing scholarships to come try out...they have a website with all the info needed....

Yes we know the UIL cut off for 4 A in Wylie +1

safe bet would be to see Yoe replace somebody like Salado who's numbers are apparently around 500 now, putting the district like this:

I would think they are gonna but the larger enrollments in the district like:

2008 numbers
Salado-397
Troy-383
Marlin-379
Academy-335
Lexington-300
Lago vista?- 369
Cameron Yoe- 421
even though I would like to see Rosebud-Lott(291) and Rogers(258) take Salado and Lago Vista's spot.

Because 2A will be split in 2 divisions, big school and small school.

tough to say. But i was looking at schools enrollment numbers, and there's ALOT of schools in 3A in the same boat as cameron. all their numbers are around 420 also. should be interesting in what district they throw us in.

Not really, the closest is Whitney at 420 and Crockett.

People are speculating the cutoff for 315.

Whitney would be 90 miles and crockett would be 112 mile trip.

I would think if the cut off is 315, it would look like:
