Olg Green, very classy of you to nominate Kam.
What makes his effort so impressive was who he did it against; at Cuero, the #3 team in the state, in a showdown for the district title. The best players play their best in the biggest games. Kam did that last friday night.

Monahans D holding Greenwood to 1 first down and only 26 yards in one news paper or 32 yards in a second one.
In a whole game. Not just one half!

No question, Kam Jones, 200 rushing and passing, plus the run where he just about ran circles round the cuero d was awesome. He put them on his back and made it a helluva game.

if we're nominating an offense or defense, i'd nominate coldspring offense, they put 35 points and 300 yards total offense (split almost in half running and passing) on Liberty (at their field) in the first quarter alone.....

Totally agree, Kam lead his team with everything he had from the first play of the game till the end. Awesome game against a top ranked opponant.

I have to nominate Caldwell's Kysan Woolverton. Against Cameron, he had 39 carries, 253 yards and 2 touchdowns. Week after week, he's a force to reckon with, knows no fear and not easy to take down.

Kam is the real deal. He certainly gave me more than one anxiety attack during our game with Edna Friday night. He definitely gets my vote this week! :D
