Ingleside Mustangs (9-1) vs. Zapata Hawks (6-4)

I don’t think that I am going to be driving all the way down to La Joya to see this one. Might as well be in Mexico… lol :D . I will be rooting for the Mustangs here from San Antonio.

Can anyone shed some light as to what Zapata brings to the table?

Anyone have any thoughts on this game?

I don't care too much for the difference in driving distance in this game. But this ride will feel alot shorter on the way back home for the Mustangs. Mustangs win by 14+. GO STANGS!!!

The Mustangs will be primed for this one. I doubt Zapata has seen the "big play ability" this year that Ingleside will bring into this one.

Is there anyone that can give us some insight on Zapata?

These two teams have taken turns over the years knocking each other out of the playoffs.

With that said.....it is my belief that Ingleside will win this one convincingly.

all i have to say is

ingleside 40
zapata 7

the only other team zapata played with any type of pass offense was lyford and i belive the score of that was 40+ to 14 the zapata backs can run and are pretty good but ingleside should barely break a sweat IFFFF they get the pass going. ingleside is much better then lyford so the mustangs gallop to the second round.

Its time for Ingleside to put it all together and score everytime we get in the redzone, whether a TD or 3 points. Three times Ingleside failed to get any points against Robstown in the redzone. I don't understand why the coach isn't kicking feild goals. In the playoffs a win or loss can be determined by three points and we have gone for it on 4th down in the redzone almost all year long. I think it is great that he has confidence in the offense but sometimes that risk will come back to haunt you especially in the playoffs.
