I like the current top 25 with royal at 25 since they have have gone the distance with a lot of good teams this year then beat needville last night and they should have beat sweeny, but that is my case for putting them in the top 25

I think that the top 6 in my poll are all really about equal with Gilmer being No.1 and the other five very close behind.

6-17 are all capable of beating anyone on any given night and if any get on a roll, the rest of 3A better look out.

17-25 are all capable of pulling huge upsets and shaking up the playoff picture.

There are no slouches in the top 25 and there are gonna be some really great playoff games in both divisions.

It is pretty interesting that 4 of the top 5 are Division 1 teams and I know it is controversial, but I think Caldwell may well be the best bet to beat Carthage in Division 2.

Got to keep Sealy in the top 3 mix of any poll. Won D25, arguably the TOUGHEST district top to bottom of any in the state. Not only that, but did not have a close game until they went and played a tough La Grange team away. They are the real deal.

Sealy has been the most underrated team in 3A this year. They have a complete package. If they are not in the top 3 or 4 teams I can't imagine how good the top teams are who occupy those rankings. Sealy v Cuero in round two will be the deciding game in Region 4. If they can get by the Gobblers, another full house team, then I'd bet the farm they will give Gilmer all they can handle. Gilmer has not faced the caliber of competition that Sealy has so it is not a given they will ascend to the semi's. The D1 bracket will be interesting.

D25combined record: 42-18 or an average of 7-3. Most all 7-3 teams make the playoffs. Yes it was a tough row to hoe.

Sealy was getting beat by Bellville 34-16 at halftime, at home. Sealy did rally back and win the game 45-35 but that's definitely a close game in my book.

Was not a close game, whether Bellville was winning or not at half, it seemed like Sealy was always ahead. They fixed the turnover issue and played like the real team in the second half.

But....Sealy has done that more than once this year......come out flat...play undisciplined ball in the 1st half and had to storm back to win against teams they should have dominated.......that won't get it done in the playoffs against someone like Cuero or the likes of who can score just as fast as Sealy. You let a team like that jump out 14+ on you....and you lose.

Cuero is overrated in a WEAK WEAK district. Bellville or Smithville could have won that district. Cuero, although undefeated, is down from last year and Sealy is way way up. Theyll be waiting on Gilmer. :)

Carthage will not get a chance to show Gilmer who the best team is so I am putting the undefeated champs where they should be Number 1! So why is Prosper at #13

You let a team like that jump out 14+ on you....and you lose. Exactly. That's what happened to Sinton vs. Ingleside. :)

Lucky you!:hand:

This is EXACTLY why most Buckeye fans wanted the rematch! I really think Gilmer would've taken y'all behind the woodshed this year, but............we'll never know, will we?

I'm guessing this is a vote for Edna. Just a wild guess because I don't see a team name anywhere.

If you didn't want Edna at 25, too bad.

ETA....Cuero/Sealy that is.
